Providence Amphitheater (formerly Sandstone Amphitheater) is an open-air performance venue located in Bonner Springs, Kansas, conveniently located near the Kansas Speedway and Legends Shopping Mall. Opened in 1984, it is a place where concert fans have been making memories for over twenty years. Audience capacity at Providence Amphitheater is 18,000 people, including approximately 3,100 box and reserved seats.
Providence Amphitheater is located in Wyandotte County Park in Bonner Springs, Kansas. See the Directions and Parking info page for details.
Tickets to events at Providence Amphitheater are available through Ticketmaster. See the Providence Amphitheater Event Calendar page for a list of all events and associated ticketing links.
Starting in 2017, we are hosting box office hours for the first week of sales only for every event. The box office (located at 633 N 130th Street) will be open weekdays 10am-4pm for in-person ticket sales with no service charges.
Beware of secondary resale sites; not only are prices higher on these websites, but the venue can only guarantee the validity of tickets purchased directly from Ticketmaster.
A variety of food and beverage vendors are present at Providence Amphitheater, including BBQ, hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, soda, water, beer, liquor, and more.
Providence Amphitheater is comprised of both reserved and general admission seating. The "up-front" general admission area is located directly in front of the stage, and allows more fans close access to the stage and performers. Event seating varies by show; check our Event Calendar page for more details on each show's setup. Normally, access to the up-front pit requires a GA Pit ticket. All tickets are also allowed access to lawn seating. For a map of our seating, check out our Event Seating page.
Check the Ticketmaster Retail Outlet page to find a retail outlet near you. Tickets can also be purchased at the venue box office on day of show only, if they are still available at that time.
All tickets are allowed access to the general admission lawn. Access to the General Admission Pit varies by show; typically, only GA Pit tickets are allowed access to this area. On certain occasions, some shows may have a separate GA Pit ticket or lower reserve ticket; in these instances, this change will be noted on the Event Calendar page and on Ticketmaster.
Generally the parking lot opens 2 hours prior to the show time and the gates generally open 1 hour prior to show time. Check our website a day or two before the show day for exact opening times.

Yes! Anyone with a ticket to a concert and UnitedHealthCare card in-hand when they arrive at the venue can gain entry before general gate time. To take advantage of this, simply show your UnitedHealthCare card at the Hop the Line Gate (located at both the GA and Reserved Entrance Gates), and you and up to three (3) more people (for a total of four people per UnitedHealthCare card) will be allowed in early. All people entering through this gate will of course need to have their own ticket to the show.
Unless otherwise noted on the event calendar page for an event, parking is $10 per car in the General Admission or Reserved lots. VIP parking is also available on a first-come first-served basis for $20 per car.
Smoking is allowed in the venue in designated smoking areas: the GA Plaza, walkways, and the VIP Club. As a courtesy to fellow concert goers, smoking is not allowed in the lawn, pit, or reserved seating areas.
To ensure that Providence Medical Center Amphitheater maintains an environment safe and free of violence for all employees and patrons, with the exception of on-duty law enforcement officers, the venue prohibits the possession or use of dangerous weapons on venue property.
